The Word Government has announced that all of humanity will be eradicated in 96 minutes. Hildy and Evelyn, two teenage best friends, hang out and take bets on how it’s going to end. All the while Hildy is playing a pub game meant to keep drunk people preoccupied. Will they win before the world ends?

About the Author

Max Koh [they/them] is a Seattle-based playwright, director, sound designer, and lover of soup-based noodle dishes. Max came into their love for theatre at the age of 1 when they invalidated the purpose of Seattle Children’s Theatre’s beautiful quiet rooms by banging on the window during a production of The Red Balloon. They hold a BA in Theatre from Western Washington University, where they received multiple awards for their directing projects, a healthy love for kombucha, and a rekindled interest in tabletop roleplaying games. In 2019, Max was the recipient of the Mark Twain Award for Comedy from the National Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. In 2025, Max considered acquiring a pet bird. Max can also be found as the DM of the burgeoning Dungeons and Dragons Podcast "The Railroad Community Casters Club."
